What Is Super-hero Talk And Super-villain Talk?

The Nature Of Our Speech

We all know to some extent the power of words on our life.

We have all had encounters that lifted us up or broke us down.

These sentiments communicated by other people have a profound effect on us and shape our world.

Positive or negative energies are infused into everything about us and everything around us in life.

What we choose concerning these facts can and will make a lasting impact for good or bad in our lives and those around us.

What Is Super-hero Talk?

Super-hero talk is, in simple terms, anything verbally that builds up rather than breaks down.

Many of us have encountered people who have an overwhelmingly powerful impact on us through encouragement.

Those who see the best in us and the situation are embracing the position of a hero and they lift people up.

In a situation that doesn’t seem to offer any hope we can speak hope into the situation and not be wasting our breath.

There are people that have beat all the odds against them and achieved the unthinkable simply because another person believed in them and spoke this positive reassurance to them.

Words filled with positive energy and words that empower people are those of a super-hero.

When we use our words to pick people up and heal hurts and wounds we become in that moment a hero to another soul through the power of love.

What Is Super-villain Talk?

Super-villain talk is the kind of speech that breaks people down and destroys souls and situations.

In a cold and unloving world we all encounter plenty of this kind of behavior and so we know how it feels.

Many people have felt the sting of a teacher or other authority figure telling them they will never amount to anything.

Anything we speak that is negative is effectively destructive in nature and affects everyone around us and creates a detrimental space.

When we come into contact with dark villain like speech we should do our best to either avoid it or counter it if possible.

Destruction is the enemy of life and so there is no good thing that comes from this kind of negative talk.

Super-villains always damage and destroy with their words and the consequences are far worse than any of us can imagine.

The Power Our Tongue Wields

In Proverbs 18:21 it says “Life and death are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”

This is no exaggeration as people’s words have kept them from taking their own life and caused others to do so.

The effects of our communication with others is tremendous and powerful.

Gossip ruins relationships and turns places of work into breeding grounds for hate and conflict.

How a husband and wife speak to each other can make a happy home or create a living hell for them and their children.

While the choice is very simple we can often find ourself expressing frustration and becoming very negatively minded.

We should work toward learning patience and removing fowl speech from our lives for our own well being and those around us.

Curse words, often inaccurately called “cuss words,” are a type of profane speech that is literally built on cursing other people.

Cursing is something people do in witchcraft and demonic circles to damage and destroy others.

They do this because they know that it has a real world effect and is detrimental to people.

This should encourage us to avoid negative communication and profane words with great effort.

How Our Speech Affects Our World Supernaturally

When God sent Israel to the city of Jericho to conquer it He told them to shout before the attack, not after.

When we speak into our world our words carry creative power that can affect our situation and everything in it.

There is a popular test people do called the rice experiment where they speak love to one jar and hate to another jar, both filled with cooked rice.

The loved rice always lasts longer and looks great while the hated rice always becomes degraded and looks horrible.

The thing is that we can see this effect in a myriad of ways.

Hypochondriacs make themselves ill by speaking it into existence and stress caused by negative thinking is shown to be at the root of many health issues.

In just the same way there are those people who bring laughter and encouragement and carry life and joy into a situation that seems hopeless.

In this we can be a healing heart to a hurting world by carrying God’s love and using our voice to speak life into every situation and even transform other people’s future for the better.

While this seems very simple in principle, everything is always much easier to say than to do but we can achieve it with practice.

Applying God’s Promises To These Principles

We can encourage people and use God’s Word to heal those around us.

By convincing people to never give up we can help them overcome obstacles.

Quoting God’s promises and teaching others the truths from the Bible will speak life into our world and loved ones. (Proverbs 4:22)

Instead of memorizing scriptures just for ourselves, we should be doing it so we can use them in every situation we encounter to lift others from despair and put a smile on their face.

When we share the love of God with people who are used to facing an often cold and hurtful world we can be much more than super-heroes to them.

At times that people feel alone and like no one cares we can remind them that Jesus Christ died to prove His love for them. (Romans 5:8)

We can bring hope to those who are in fear of death by showing the weight of our conviction that Jesus conquered death forever. (2 Timothy 1:10)

Blessing others wherever we go we can paint bright and beautiful futures by encouraging them in a positive way that can’t be taken from them. (Romans 12:14)

By being a super-hero to those we enounter daily they might very well remember your kindness and extremely loving words for the rest of their life and be impacted forever.
